Advice regarding process in Wales

Hey I'm Ryan a 21 year old trans man from Wales, I'm trying to find out as much info about the process of getting hormones. All paperwork I have found has stated that I would need to be referred to London, however I have found some accounts of people being able to see an Endocrinologist in the Gwent hospital and being able to get hormones that way, does anyone have any info on this?
