Missing item from Forever 21 order, now I have to sign an affidavit to get a refund?
Was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation before and also wanted to inform others of how this issue gets 'resolved,' as I was quite surprised.
My order was missing a shirt. I called CS and they told me the only option I have is for me to sign an affidavit they will email me in order to get my refund. I have to print it out, sign it, scan it, and resend it to them. They then take 10-14 days to process the document and another 5-7 to refund me. So, three weeks for an issue they are entirely at fault for. I knew Forever 21 CS was bad, but holy shit, this is next level.
The whole situation is so bizarre to me and obviously makes me never want to order from their site again. I only shop there maybe once a year for things like dresses and drapey tops. I thought dealing with store credit only returns was bad but this is ridiculous. I know I'm going to end up having to call back a few times and basically fight for this refund. Probably going to end up being a 20$ lesson, but hey, if it makes me swear off F21 maybe it is saving me money in the long run. Anyways, guess I just wanted to share this information and say: buyer beware!!
