Books to learn more about printing?

Hey folks. After working nearly a year for a copy and print service at a retail store (coughStaplescough), and working with various xerox and HP Designjet printers, I've been really interested in expanding my horizons and learning the basics, technology, and techniques of types of printing? Particularly looking for anything regarding direct-to-garment printing for fabric.
