Question for Uber and Lyft drivers about becoming an Uber or Lyft driver

How viable a method of income is it? I have a full time job but I need a new(to me) car and I'm considering driving for Uber or Lyft in the off hours to cover the car payments.

How much will you generally make working nights and weekends? Any other advice that I may not know to ask for?
