Does anal feel different with a dildo than a real person?

So, I have a dilemma. I identify as straight, but lately I've been experimenting with my sexuality just a little tiny bit, because I can't stop fantasizing about it and I feel like it would be better to just get it out of my system than let it eat me up inside. My minimal experiences thus far have been a mixed bag, to say the least. My biggest fantasy though is receiving anal and/or basically bottoming for a guy, and preferably a more dominant one. Anal sex has been a fetish of mine forever, and I'm really excited/nervous/anxious/scared to try it. Just the thought of getting bent over and plowed really turns me on.

I don't have any actual dildos because I'm cheap, but I've shoved plenty of what you might call "phallic shaped objects" both big and small up my rear just to see what it's like. On the one hand, I enjoy doing it, it feels good and it releases some of my sexual tension. On the other hand, it doesn't feel good enough to really legitimize my fetish. To be frank, I enjoy the initial penetration, but I can work that thing like I'm furiously churning butter and just not get anything out of it.

Would my experience be much different if I did it with a real person, with a real penis? I would hate to bend over for a guy and actually do the act, and then immediately feel like I could've lived without doing it. Any and all advice or suggestions is welcome, beside the answering of my actual question, maybe my idea of how anal would go down in real life is incorrect somehow.
