Quick char build question for new player

So I just got the game (in fact my ps4 is currently updating it) and had a question regarding what to roll. Generally in ES games I like to roll an "assassin" type character, sneaky sneak, bows, etc. I'm assuming night blade is the way to go but is there anything else I should know going in? Also long time MMO player (tried the beta for this but wasn't thrilled. Heard a lots changed thus why I'm giving it a go) and I've always played a tank. If I don't like DPS, am I still able to tank on a night blade?
