Is it a good idea to have some sort of weekly thread to advertise your stream?

I mean every single time somebody unknown posts a stream link on r/osugame, they get downvoted to shit, and sometimes even insulted in the comments, but there is nothing really wrong with posting stream links, because they're just trying to put themselves out there, although I understand how people may react poorly to self advertisement clogging up the "new" section if they go through it.

So I just think it's a good idea to prohibit posting stream links on r/osugame (maybe not prohibit, but if somebody low ranked posts a score, people direct them to the achievement thread. I would like something similar to that except with stream links) and instead either make the weekly achievement thread allow stream advertisements aswell, or have a weekly thread dedicated to stream links.

I would just like this to be discussed.
