Why should I stick with ember over some react setup?

I've suggested a few times to people to use ember on r/rails for complicated ui.

I've been moderately down voted for even mentioning ember. The voice of react is strong. Why should I use react? What does it have to offer that ember doesn't?

I understand that react can be rendered server side to help with search indexing.

  • most of my app is behind login, so I don't need this.

I also understand that react is pure view layer, and that there are other plugins for additional functionality.
