Tips for a 1k player

Calibrated at around 1k solo and 700 party, up a little on both of those right now. As i'm so low, i'm aware that there's going to be a massive amount of mistakes/misplays i make game after game, so i'd appreciate a general rundown on what separates players of my level from 2k and above.
