[XB1 or PS4] Clan of Old People Recruiting Mature Players (read: more old people)

TL;DR: Get off our lawn!! And then join us.

"Wax on, right hand. Wax off, left hand"

If reading that you're transported back to your adolescence (possibly with a mullet) and immediately think of Cobra Kai and the phrase "sweet the leg Johnny," then the Olde Guard ("TOG") might be the clan for you.

Origin Story: ToG was started in November 2014 by a small group of friends in their 30's and 40's (ancient in video games years), who like many others around the same age, feared the unwashed masses of squeakers making raiding unenjoyable. We set out to find a few other brave individuals (read: fellow losers) to tackle the Vault of Glass.

To our surprise, our membership swelled (preemptive: that's what she said) quickly and, eventually, the clan grew to have over one-hundred members. Although the majority of people in the clan are over thirty, we quickly adapted to accept anyone that meets the surprisingly high bar of being mature (e.g., 20's but cool).

The end result is a clan of men and women full of alcoholics people that are patient and whose focus is on tackling the end-game content of Destiny while having fun. Our members have taken on everything in the game, from VoG to KF/PoE challenge and most are welcoming to people who are new to end-game activities.

Even today, despite the overall membership decline in Destiny, we still have multiple full groups on many nights.

Finally, because we are full of grow-ups, we don't require anything from members aside from being generally respectful to each other. No one has to participate in anything, but anyone that joins is encouraged to group up with people, as it is what makes joining a clan worth it.

ADDITIONAL DEETS: We have members from all over the world, but the majority are from the United States (weighted towards the east coast, but members on both coasts). Historically we have been Xbox One, but we now are trying to establish the clan on the PS4 as well.

(NOTE: This links to the Olde Guard III because Bungie has set a 100 member limit to clan tagging and Olde Guard I & II are full, but, rest assured, because we mostly communicate through Slack, there is no practical difference.)
