Who would win in a fight between a Jedi and a wizard?

My boyfriend and I are debating how a fight between an equally powerful Jedi and witch/wizard from the Harry Potter universe. He thinks that the Force would be able to beat any spell, but I think I'd be able to Expelliarmus his light saber and kill him. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
