Anybody had a 960 rma recently?

I have to send my 960 back to evga after almost a year of ownership due to faulty ports. What are the odds that they upgrade me to a 970? I know it's probably slim and I'm grateful for any replacement, but anybody have experience with sending back a 960?

Edit: also, do I need to package the card in an esd safe bag?
