Is there going to be a patch to "fix" Chaos?

During my first two campaigns I felt like the armies of Chaos invaded to quickly in terms of overall turns on the campaign map. I had hardly expanded my Empire and was busy dealing with sultry Dwarves and determined Vampires when they started the main invasion, while my troops were hardly prepared to meet another front I also realized that the few human factions that made tenuous peace treaties with me were also struggling to meet the new threat from the north. Several (about 40) turns later I had finally beaten back the vamps, made peace with the Dwarves (and the human provinces west of the mountains), and raised strong enough troops to combat Chaos only to find that my allies had swooped in and taken all the glory. The Everchosen was assailing my lands while I moved Carl Franz and my other generals into position when he suddenly was assassinated by an ally's hero. What remained of the Chaos assault hardly felt threatening and I had pushed them back across the narrow sea in a few rounds, only to suffer a few raids here and there from the Vampires. All that happened in the interim was me gaining some new troops and the Vampires re-gaining their foothold around Sylvania, along with the Greanskins and Topknots taking out most of the Dwarves to my south. I wanted Chaos to be more of a force that the rest of the world would have to band together against towards the end of a campaign, but in the end my biggest threat is basically Templhoff (because the actual Counts are dead and they expanded south of Blackfire Pass(or whatever it is)). Is there going to be a fix or mod for this soon?
