Is there a term to designate someone who takes pride, who valorise himself by being marginal.

i.e: voting for a smal party, being very vocal about your food habits (vegan, paleo etc). Lacking critical thinking when it comes to your group of belonging, a kind of endocrinated valorisation of ones self?
