The first "Alice" made over 1 billion dollars worldwide. It's sequel, already considered a flop, did miserably in it's opening weekend. Has there ever been such a huge drop-off in a sequel to a hugely successful film?
Alice through the looking glass grossed 28 million in it's first weekend of release. Shocking when thinking about the huge success of the prior movie.
