Places to camp off of the 1 in CA

My friend and I are planning to take a little road trip up the coast high way starting at about Dana Point up to probably San Fran so we want to take a few days to get up there and take our time, camp out for maybe 2 nights. Does anyone know any good sites we could just park our car and sleep in the back?
