MID 2010 MacBook Pro, El Captain 10.11.5 been cloned to SSD but can't access Recovery Mode.

I am trying to boot the lap top in Recovery mode. Which won't work and I read somewhere that If I used SuperDuper to clone my drive that it wouldn't clone the recovery OS. But I need to access that so I can disable "SIP" in the terminal so I can install ProTools. I am also reading things about having to re-install mac OS X
