Help with the North Carolina

A dozen games in I'm pulling my hair out to figure this ship out. A hull and propulsion module so far. I just can't live long enough or miss a lot of my shots. 32k average damage and 45% win rate. There's multiple games where I barely break 19k damage.

Conversely, my Amagi is 68k avg dmg and 60% WR.

Maybe I'm trying to play it too much like the earlier USN BBs, but even if I try to push less I still feel so squishy while hitting weakly.

Got chewed out in chat couple games ago and I couldn't but agree that I'm not pulling my weight in it.

So, how does one North Carolina?
