Thoughts on opening a new restaurant?

I've been at my place for a few years now, and it's my first job out of high school. There's a hotel opening in an area really accessible from where I live, with two restaurants and both are hiring (as well as tons of high end development happening in various parts of the city). I'm a little bored, looking for a change and a challenge and have been considering hopping over to apply some new place and opening the store with them. What have your experiences been like? Anything in particular to keep in mind?
