Internet connects to my devices but not my laptop.

It started yesterday, I think there was a power surge or something. After it happened my laptop wouldn't connect to the Internet. The weird thing is all my other devices do; phone, tablet, TV ect... my laptop doesn't even see the connection but it sees all the other connections near by. Any ideas?
