Mold on my Sarracenia flower?

I cross pollinated my S. flava with my S. purpurea a while back so I can get hybrid seeds. But the flower is covered in sticky nectar(?) and there's black mold growing in the style.

Should I cut off the style? I also have some of this fungicide I could spray on it http://www.amazon.com/Safer-Garden-Fungicide-Ounces-5450/dp/B000BPAUKY

What should I do about it?
