Seasonal part time nursing?
Ideally I'd like to become a practical nurse that works part time (with 8 shifts or less), and summers off. I know some hospitals and a lot of nursing homes have adopted the 8 hour work schedule as apposed to the 12. And that some nurses get summers off because they work at a school, or the hospital has an option of summers off so that nurses with children have more time for their kids. But I was wondering if all three is possible.. Part-time.. 8 hour shifts.. And summers off? Id like to have a good amount of free time for myself and family when I'm older even if it requires that I make less money.
Tldr: possible to be a nurse 8 hour shifts, part-time, summer off?
