Chances of Approval for Chase Sapphire Preferred
I'm interested in applying for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, however, I read about the new chase 5/24 rule and was wondering about my chances of approval. I plan to apply for the card this September, as I'll be spending two weeks aboard in Nov. I have opened 6 new cc accounts in the past 24 months; 3 of which will be more than 2 years old this December. I have very good credit, borderline excellent. My credit card utilization is below 1% and all accounts are current and paid in full each month. Would this make a difference when applying? Are there any other alternative cards that are great for international travel?
My current ccs are Chase Freedom & Slate, Citi Thankyou & Diamond Preferred, Discover IT, AMEX everyday, and Capital One Quicksilver card. I also have a Virgin America Visa that I opened in Feb 2015 that was recently closed at my request.
