Question about Season 3 [Spoiler]

Do we actually know for sure that Season 3 will be Flashpoint? I realize that the Flashpoint story line is the result of Barry going back in time and saving his mom but has there been any official confirmation that Flashpoint will be happening in Season 3? All I see are people just sort of assuming that this is what the writers are going to go with.
