Alarm

I'm a virgin, but I finally put a ROM on my GS3. I used the CM13 nightly, from 5/24. Only problem so far is I have no sound from the alarm feature of the stock gapps clock. Is this a known issue? I value a minimal, but, should I just grab another clock app from the store and move on?
