Just Some Food for Thought

Suggestion

Hey, I just have a few things that I want to get out there that I think need to be addressed with the sub rules and how the sub approaches new people. These are some things that I believe are contributing to the gradual death of the sub, half because we scare off mostly any new people that attempt to come on the sub, and half because these things generally make everyone that is already ON the sub mad because we make new people mad.

One of the first issues that I would like to address is how new people are completely shunned from higher tiers. I don’t think that blocking people from getting city tiers until they’ve been on the sub for at least a week is a bad rule, I think that that makes sense. My main issue is that a new person has to wait at least five weeks to get a delta tier. I know that this is our highest tier and we shouldn’t be handing it out like candy, but that is ridiculous. A new person must post a city tier, which they cannot do until having been on the sub with a street tier character for one week, and then after posting that city tier they must wait one whole month to post a delta.

This is too long of a wait, I personally think that they should have to wait at most a week until after their city tier being posted. This gives them a maximum wait of two weeks for a delta tier, obviously alongside the fact that they at least somewhat RP consistently and don’t make any major mistakes. Our character creation is intimidating and not very interesting for new people, so I believe that this fix can at least somewhat remedy that issue.

This is one major issue that I think should be addressed, at least one that I can publicly post without coming off as rude or trying to shame someone in front of the entire sub. Any suggestions can go below in the comments, obviously.
