Small segment, any improvements I could make?

The rain fell, Splattering on the pavement as the dull window lights glowed softly.

The moon was smothered by the clouds and the street lights reflected in the puddles of water that slowly formed at the sides of the roads.

A few cars drove down the desolate street, the head lights lighting up the walls as they went past.
