Overwatch as an Esport

It seems Blizzard would like Overwatch to be an Esport as some pro teams are forming and some tournaments are happening. The problem is, Overwatch is 20 tick. There is no way you can have legitimate professional play at 20 tick. This could easily be fixed if they added lan support. It seems like blizzard would just add lan support since they seem to want their games to be esports, but they also seem to be strongly against adding lan support to their games.
