Would a 72 bow be good for a solo Oscar?

Looking to do a belated tank upgrade for my Oscar, and am thinking about grabbing a used 72G bow with stand from a LFS. I know the "bare minimum" is 55G, but most recommendations are 75-90G that I've seen and with the bioload it totally makes sense. Realistically, could the 72G work? Filter would be an Aquaclear 110. I have no problem doing frequent changes, say every other day, since I use the discarded tank water for garden stuff anyway. And it seems that I wouldn't really get any massive dimension benefit unless I went with a 120G, so it seems like it's purely a water volume concern once there's enough room for comfortable turning.
