[Event/Lore] Come Here Boy, Let Me Teach You A Lesson

Lore

[Meta] Immediately following Clayton's elimination from the Rosby-Waxley melee.

Clayton staggered off the melee field, using his tourney sword as a cane. His back throbbed from where he was bludgeoned only moments ago. His body throbbed and sweat blurred his vision, but he recognized his nephew, Jate, who met him half way to aid him. The hulk of a man leaned on the younger one's shoulder, relieving some of the pressure off of his back.

An on looker would be surprised by what they saw. Despite Jate's underdeveloped arm, his strength rivaled the other men he fought along side. His shriveled left arm did not hold him back the least. "Uncle, are you alright? You took quite a hit to your back."

Clayton slumped down onto a bench, the legs cracked and creaked as they strained to hold together. "I'm fi-ne, Jate."He tried to hide a wince. "Bring me water." He sighed and drew in a deep breath, followed by a look of pain across his face. A broken rib. He took the skin of water from his nephew, squeezing out every drop into his mouth. "Who hit me Jate?"

"It was that dornishman, Varyn Uller." Jate glared at the man. "He put all of his weight into his maul and slammed you when you were distracted."

A loud thud came from behind him as his uncle threw off his chain mail. "Hmph. Why does that not surprise me?" He stood slowly, now having shed his armor. "Keep an eye on your father, I need to go have Rosby's maester look at my rib."

The bandages squeezed his abdomen as Clayton put his loose shirt back on. "Thank you maester, I appreciate your help." Now to go find that dornishman. His heavy steps echoed through the tower as he left the rookery. He tried to remember where Varyn was when he was fighting. I should have kept an eye on him.

Clayton got to the melee field right when it was coming to an end. He watched a Darklyn man come up on top and applauded, his thunderous claps echoed off of the walls. Turning his head, he started to look for his adversary. It didn't take him long, the Uller man stood out in the crowd. He made his way through the people, his eyes focused on Varyn the whole time. He spoke as he grew closer. "Varyn Uller, am I correct?"
