Posts about pets in personal statements
What is up with people saying they want to use their cats as the main subject in their personal statements? I've seen 2 or 3 in the past week. Like I get it, your pet means a lot to you, but it shouldn't really effect your medical school application unless you are applying veteranary medicine.
Like it really makes me question my peers. I'm over here writing about the inequalities of healthcare in my state and then there are people writing about how mittens got sick once after getting high off of some bad catnip. If that inspired you to be a doctor, then you should probably rethink your career choices.
