Storytime: I got my own wow account in MoP, Right around the start of 5.3 so i was a pleb. My brother was doing ToT and I wanted the Whole Body Shrinka so fucking bad, I farmed it for him on his shaman and asked him to help me with mine
did he help me? No.
Did he for years tease me and use it in front of me knowing I could never get it? Yes.

I really don't like how Blizzard constantly changes their position on items being removed from the game, especially when they put back in items they expressly told people would be removed.

Actually they said this set of toys would likely come back, but the title will never return.

I think it makes sense since they weren't actually toys back when they were available so a lot of people didn't pick them up because of that.

As someone who mains a Troll, and only recently started playing (~8 months), pretty bummed that I can't get the Darkspear Revolutionary title.
At the same time though, totally understand a lot of people would be pissed if people were able to get it again. Would make it less special.

No, I'm annoyed that Blizzard doesn't have a consistent position about removed items. Either don't remove anything, or don't bring back items you want to be exclusive by removing them after a specific time period.

Edit: actually, you can buy from her as Alliance. There are a bunch of 110 guards around so it's not easy but it is totally possible. She appears hostile (red text) but she will interact with you as Alliance and she will even repair your gear.
All the items are account wide though.

How are you able to see her as Alliance? I'm there on my main and I'm in the wrong phase apparently.

For anyone reading this now, this is no longer the case. A horde character is required. Which is really a slap in the face to Alliance IMO. Guess I'm going to be leveling my horde during pre patch now -.-

As someone who burned themselves out on 5.3 content and only managed to get one of these items [the flute, because they took his snakes, mon! ;-;], this makes me so happy.
Now if they would make that banner from that event a toy, or at least useable elsewhere other than the freaking Barrens.

For any Ally reading in 7.x, you can create a horde class trial, leave the scenario as soon as you get queued in, and then do a couple WoD challenges to get the gold needed to buy all of them.

Cosmetic items are broken on the beta right now, you can't add any of them to your collection. Will probably be fixed.

I find this kinda lame, atleast make it so you have to do the same farm the people who got it back in 5.3 did. This just feels like i did that for nothing.

Hooray! I'm actually really excited for this. I didn't really bother with them in patch 5.3 because the Toybox tab didn't exist yet, toys were limited to your character, and they took up bag/storage space. And MoP introduced A LOT of toys. So even though there was some appeal to them, the practicality wasn't there because storage space was limited and valuable, and I had to be selective with what I wanted to keep. So I passed on all but the pet, since we had the pet tab. It wasn't until AFTER these went away in patch 5.4 and BEFORE the Toybox tab became a thing in patch 6.0 that I regretted that decision. I always felt like I missed out on these things, especially Xan'tish's Flute and Bom'Bay's Color Seein' Sauce (which reminds me, why isn't it included with these?). Now I have a second chance to claim these as toys, and I'm happy for it.
