I'd like to introduce y'all to my first child...

I'm posting this from my very first homebuilt PC, and I could not be more excited!!!

Its name is Ludo, because the whole idea of building this (and seeing all the parts become an amazing, working whole) seemed ludicrous at first. But after one botched CPU installation (had to replace the motherboard since I bent the pins! D: Oops!), one bad fan replacement, a good deal of googling, and lots of cable tidying, HE LIVES!

It was a great learning experience and I'm pretty proud of myself right now. My parents happened to be up for the weekend, so I happily introduced them to this grandchild No. 1. The rest will be cats :-)
