Waiting

I’m waiting for your text again.    
I’ll wait to the world will end.    
No I won’t. I have better things to do,  
Or at least that is what I think is true.
But here I am waiting for your text again. 

You text me and it’s like a drug. 
You text me. 
I don’t respond too fast, 
But I don’t take too long. 
Then I am waiting for your text again. 

We text a lot and I’m not alone. 
I text you, 
And you respond
In a timely manner. 
I’m in love. 

We text.
We fight. 
You move on. 
I move on. 
I find her. 

This is something I was looking for. 
Something new with you.
I respond but not too quickly. 
You’re different than her and that’s good. 
But here I am waiting for your text again.
