Flair can now be set through comments by the OP and certain people.
To mark your own post as solved, you can type "solved: " followed by the name of the game and AutoModerator will set a flair automatically. This can be used by the OP of the post, all moderators of the subreddit, and certain people who have been given access by AutoModerator.
The main purpose of this is to reduce the number of unmarked posts by having a team of users who can mark posts that have been solved.
I'll be testing this below to make sure it's working for people who are not in the list, so you can look at my comment if you're not sure how it works. The entire comment will be set as the flair, so it must not contain anything other than "solved: " and the game title.
For anyone who's interested, these are the AutoModerator rules:
# Autoflair negative check
type: comment
body (regex): "solved: *"
author:
~name: [purpleslug, Derf_Jagged, buclk, SassyGary, Cable_Salad, walking_the_way, adbburn]
is_submitter: false
is_moderator: false
action: remove
message: "You don't have permission to set a flair on this post. You can request permission by [sending a message](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Ftipofmyjoystick) to the moderators."
# Autoflair
type: comment
body (regex): "solved: *"
parent_submission:
set_flair: ["{{body}}", "autoflair"]
overwrite_flair: true
comment: "Flair set by /u/{{author}}. Check [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/comments/4pcazg/flair_can_now_be_set_through_comments_by_the_op/) for more information."
The first rule deletes the comment if you don't have permission to set flairs. If the comment is deleted, it won't be checked by the second rule, so flair will only be set if you meet one of the three requirements.
There's also some CSS being used to hide the "solved: " part so you only see the game title in the flair.
As you can see above, the only people who currently have access are u/purpleslug and u/Derf_Jagged. I'd like to expand this list, so if you want to help flair some unmarked posts, let me know and I'll add you to the list. Make sure you only mark things that are 100% confirmed by the OP to be solved. If you're not sure, don't mark it.
AutoModerator will post the username of the person who marked it, so if you're caught abusing this power, your power will be revoked.
Edit: I'm putting this here because it was hidden by AutoModerator spam:
It's working now, but I had to separate it into three separate but similar rules. This can be annoying if you meet more than one requirement, because AutoModerator will reply to you up to four times. I'll work on trying to prevent some of AutoModerator's spam.
Edit: Now it's down to two rules and it will only comment once. The code above has been updated.

I'd like to help if you have room for one more. It bothers me that there are so many solved, unflaired threads.
Added. Thanks for the help.
