Who Me, a Witch?
No, that name is not for me?
Of course, the time will tell.
Now here, just you wait and see
That how I cast my spell.
'Ha! That's a lie.' You'll say,
Just sleep and comprehend-
What you feel at end of day
That with me you did spend.
What you in my eyes do see?
Angles at your face?
Last day this, that you're free-
They'll wrap you in their grace.
I know them, all your little ways:
You try to catch my wit,
But in the course of many days
You won't catch a bit.
Does my smile make your day
And fondly tickle your spine?
And my voice tells you all the way
To take all that is mine?
You die to touch my little neck,
And hold me by my waist,
To look at all the rosy wreck,
Your hands can make in haste.
A queer mix of heart and brain:
I'm the Venus of the night,
But if you turn and look again
I'm the Diana with her light.
I am a witch: trace my face,
And if you do that fast:
To a priest now you race
For the black spell is cast.
