Build Help

###Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

My brother said he wants this for the kids to use for school, for him to use to browse the web and such, and his wife wants to learn Photoshop.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

No gaming as far as I know.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

He didn't give me a budget. I limited the pcpart picker to newegg and amazon just because I'm comfortable with those websites. The other places I really didn't recognize.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

NY/NJ. We will ship the newegg stuff to NY to skip the taxes.

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

Thanks for your help!

NOTE: You do not have to follow this format, but please be sure to answer these questions. Please do not ask to simply be given a build. You are welcome to delete this section.

You could go with a cheaper ssd if you want to reduce the price.

Changes:

CPU: Got a quad core CPU which is nicer for heavier workloads like Photoshopping.

Memory: At least 16GB memory is good for photoshop.

SSD: Switched to a much cheaper SSD but still a good and fast budget SSD.

Case: You dont need a $100+ case just get a decent one like this one.

PSU: Switched to a more reliable PSU.

Optical drive: Got a cheaper one but are you sure you need optical drive?

Monitor: Got a cheaper monitor that's IPS for better color accuracy in photoshop.

Keyboard: Switched to an ergonomic keyboard/mouse combo that's still wireless.
