Translation Help?

I've been looking around on how to translate the phase "I make light." into PIE. I've looked around a small bit and my small understanding of PIE has lead me to the translation "Teksmi leuki." Is this correct to our current knowledge of PIE? Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't think you can speak about it in terms of correct or not... If you want to be certain, look into modernized "European":

Why can't we be correct? There are established Grammars of PIE that linguists agree upon (and some parts they disagree). This does not mean our understanding of PIE is whole and static, but still we can reconstruct a huge part of PIE.

Soqitis is almost a PIE inspired/based conlang project. It is not scientifically accurate, nor do they have such a goal.

Am I wrong?

I don't think so. teks- refers to plaiting or carpentry, which doesn't seem to fit right with creating light.

I might try bhrenko lewko or maybe ḱrehmi₁ lewko ("bring" and "grow", respectively).

As for lewko, that's my best guess at accusative case (could also be lewkom?)
