Protoss Timing Attacks vs Zerg

Meta

Hi guys,

I am generally a macro player and always take a fast third base, but I've come to realise that I'm missing out on one of the main strengths of Protoss. I devised a Blink timing against Terran and I'm happy with timings against Protoss but I have no idea what to do timing wise against zerg.

Any resources you can link me to? I'm Diamond/was master in WoL/Hots, so macro complexity is not an issue.

Showtime vs nerchio valencia g1 sejong 2-base 7 gate adept prism allin. Are you interested in just pressure timings to macro behind or huge attacks like this?

Either - I want to refine my builds so that there's a clear objective at the start of the game beyond "Hmmm take a 3rd when I feel safe and then make Immortals and see what else happens."

Oh cool, yeah lots of refined builds out there, the easiest to keep the zerg in check is twilight/glaives, check out drogo/showtime/neeb vods and you'll see plenty of games where it's executed with different super refined followups. Simple player search on sc2casts will do the trick

If you're looking for an allin timing attack, I'd recommend the Immortal Chargelot Allin. I made a quick guide for it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zP3yUSRpQI

There's just a couple things I would change from it since I made it. I always scout now that dusk is out of the map pool and I make an adept instead of a zealot for the wall.

You can normally move out around 4:45 and hit around 5:25 ~ 5:30.

It's meant to be a two base allin. I either win or I lose after doing it. I don't take a third. It can be really deadly, though, so GLHF! :D

DreamHack Valencia 2016, R16: Neeb vs Hydra on Galactic Process (I have the replay pack but I don't remember where I got it).

Neeb opened with an aggressive 8 adept with glaives into a 3rd Nexus by 4:30. Unfortunately, he did not cause much damage. Killed 6 drones and lots of lings but lost all adepts. Neeb still won.

Hello, I'm a diamond/master level zerg player. I find that opening stargate against zerg is generally the best option, because it is likely guaranteed damage plus you can deny scouting. Always go phoenix imo. The adept timing was very popular but I think most zergs have figured it out, so I'd suggest harashing with phoenixes and a warp prism with adepts to turn it up a notch, and then follow up with whatever you need.

This is probably the best site for BO's atm: https://www.bonjwa.de/starcraft-ii/lotv/build-order

Oh and the hardest ZvP I've played was a phoenix opening into disrupter at front and then dt/adept harash. While I am moving drones away from DT/adepts and splitting army, you shoot disrupter shots at main army. Almost impossible to deal with, if you're patient enough as Protoss
