(Spoilers Everything) Future Dunk and Egg Stories

EVERYTHING

Hey guys. Based on the number of posts over the past few days, it seems like a lot of people have just read the Dunk and Egg novellas. I thought this might be a good time to post my speculative plots and titles for further Dunk and Egg stories that we'll hopefully be getting somewhere way, way down the line. I posted this about a year ago under my previous username, but it got lost along with almost everything else when I deleted it. So if nothing else, it'll be nice to have it again.

I'll note below which titles are mine and which ones Martin has confirmed as future possibilities. All events are pulled from the World Book or obvious blanks spots therein, with the exception of one, which will also be noted below. All dates are from canon sources except where a question mark is present, in which case it's my guess. To wit:

    1. The Hedge Knight (209); a would-be hedge knight named Dunk attends a tourney at Ashford where he befriends one prince and offends another, starting himself on a long road that will take him through the history of the Seven Kingdoms
    1. The Sworn Sword (211); while traveling in the Reach, Dunk and Egg mediate a dispute between the elderly lord Eustace Osgrey and Rohanne Webber, better known as the Red Widow
    1. The Mystery Knight (211); While attending the tourney at Whitewalls, Dunk and Egg get swept up in a conspiracy that leads to the Second Blackfyre Rebellion.
    1. The Southron Sword (212?); Arriving at Winterfell too late to aid the Starks against the Greyjoys (who have since begun fighting the Lannisters, who are led by the newly minted Lord of Casterly Rock, Gerold the Golden), Dunk and Egg become embroiled in the machinations of the She-Wolves of Winterfell, half a dozen Stark sisters, widows and ladies vying for control in the wake of Lord Beron's death. Egg meets several young Stark boys his own age while Dunk becomes romantically involved with Nan, a young midwife with a penchant for Stark family history.
    1. The Village Hero (214?); Returning south after their adventures in the North, Dunk decides to visit Pennytree, the small Riverland hamlet that was the birthplace of his mentor, Ser Arlan. There they find that the Blackwood/Bracken conflict has begun anew. Dunk must contend with Lord Otho, the Brute of Bracken, while Egg is charmed by a young Blackwood maiden named Betha.
    1. The Prince's Shield (219); Serving together under Prince Maekar in the Third Blackfyre Rebellion, Dunk and Egg are instrumental in the resolution of the war, but become divided when Egg's brother Aerion murders Haegon I Blackfyre after he surrenders. Their dispute is further inflamed when it is revealed that Dunk had an affair with one of Egg's sisters and she is now pregnant. Dunk flees a wrathful Maekar and a brokenhearted Egg to seek his fortunes across the Narrow Sea.
    1. The Sellsword (223?); After years in the Disputed Lands as a sellsword, Dunk signs with the Golden Company. There, he meets Bittersteel and learns of his plans to further the Blackfyre cause. Dunk also befriends Daemon III Blackfyre, the goodhearted and Egg-like grandson of Daemon I.
    1. The Last Suitor (230); Dunk has returned to Targaryen service after defecting from the Golden Company, his information regarding their movements and plans buying him a pardon from Maekar and Bloodraven. As Egg's sworn shield, he accompanies him to the Westerlands where they become involved in events that lead to the mysterious disappearance of Lady Rohanne.
    1. The Raven's Escort (233); Following the Great Council and Egg's ascension to the Iron Throne, Dunk takes a long boat ride to the Wall where he acts as the Clarice Starling to Bloodraven's Hannibal Lector. He also reflects on the Siege of Starpike, the death of Maekar, the Great Council and his appointment to the Kingsguard after being knighted by Egg.
    1. The Kingsguard (236); Dunk and Egg fight in the Fourth Blackfyre Rebellion, where Dunk is forced to kill his old friend, Daemon III Blackfyre. Fighting alongside him is his son, the brash, young heir to Tarth.
    1. The Champion (239); Dunk must face his old friend Lyonel Baratheon in single combat after the Laughing Storm rises up against the Iron Throne.
    1. The Lord Commander (251); Dunk joins forces with Prince Daeron Targaryen to lead a force of knights against the bandits known as the Rat, the Hawk and the Pig. Dunk fights alongside his fellow Kingsguard, Glendon Ball and Maegor Targaryen.
    1. The True Knight (259); Dunk accompanies Egg on a fateful trip to Summerhall.

So obviously I didn't come up with the titles or plots for the first three. The titles for numbers 5, 7, 10, 11 and 12 have been confirmed by Martin himself. The only plot that is 100% my own invention is #7, although Martin has said that at least one story will take place in Essos.

I also had an idea for the Tourney at Blackhaven in 247 where Dunk unmasks a ten year old Barristan Selmy as the mystery knight, but I like the idea of Summerhall being unlucky number 13.
