He's the proud owner of a ~8 K/BB in the minors and had a total BB in the single digits last year in 100.2 IP. I'm really looking forward to tracking Musgrove's career, he's going to be a great pitcher.

Well here is hoping that Bregman, Musgrove and Gurriel help push the Astros to the playoffs, but if they dont it will be solid experience for them to come out strong next year.

Season still has a lot of games and most of them are against the AL West.

58 Games left, 28 of them against the West and 9 of those against the Rangers.

They still have a chance!

Please have a better start than our other prospects...

McCullers and Devenski both had very very good debuts.

Pretty sure Pibbly means all of the batters the Astros have called up this season.

Not everyone is Correa when they get called up.

How many innings/starts are we looking at with Musgrove this season at the ML level? This is assuming that he dominates, or simply does well enough to stick in the rotation(obviously), is he someone who we would be shutting down before any potential post-season appearances?

Regardless of the answer to the above I am quite excited about this kid as he appears to have all the requisite tools required to have a long and successful career for our Astros. It is kinda crazy how promising the future(next 10+ years) looks for us.

Murgrove has pitched 85 1/3 innings so far.
Last year, he pitched 100 2/3 innings.
I expect that the Astros would want to limit him to 125 innings. For comparison, LMC pitched 125 2/3 last year.

Musgrove and Hoyt will be on the starting roster next year and should be a big boon to the team

He couldn't be any worse than the pitching we had this weekend, save Fiers' good outing on Saturday.
