When is Shenlongs set bonus better than sheet dps?
I'm running the standard R6 build (quin69 gr build) on the new season and I found the following weapons:

I'm not sure when shenlongs set bonus is worth losing a lot of sheet dps for? Is that the case here? I'm guessing vit and life per spirit goes to socket but would love some feedback.

You'll want to use Flying Dragon in Kunai's cube and wear both shen longs. I'd reroll spirit reg or lps on the fist of legend. The relentless assault could be worth rerolling damage to max or rerolling spirit to max and then use a Gift on it for the extra socket. If you don't have a gift reroll either AD or vit, as you see fit.
The set bonus is that good, alright! Thanks a ton, no gift right now unfortunately so I'll have to pick something to change to socket.
There isn't even a dps loss tbh, I am not quite sure what you mean. But in any case, the Shen Long bonus is a straight up multiplier to your damage. It's usually worth it. In general sheet damage is largely irrelevant, and you'll probably have more with 2 socketed onehanders than with 1 socketed twohanders anyways!
I was referring to the sheet dps yeah, it showed -50% or something going to the two one handers. Just followed your advice and I can definitely notice a significant increase in my damage, thanks a lot!

Really? You're losing damage with two socketed 1hers vs a socketed 2her? Must have goofy ring/amulet rolls (like super low crit chance or something). Once you end up with a more 'standard' stat allotment, the free 15% ias and 2nd emerald from dual wielding pretty much trashes 2hers for sheet damage, though sometimes builds use 2hers for reasons other than sheet damage.
