Story Time: SrA Dumbass thinks a truck bomb is us pranking him

Step into the way back machine and set the dial for June 1996 to a time before reddit, tendies, and GBPs ...

I was a young Airman with only about about a year TIS and was on my first deployment at Khobar Towers. I had already been in country close to three weeks when SrA Dumbass shows up (back in those days we noners didn't typically deploy as a unit and shops were a hodge podge of people from all over the AF). He was a bit odd to say the least and was typically the guy everyone in the shop messed with. One fine night our friendly local national hosts decide to park a truck bomb outside our dorm and blow the damn thing up. As we are trying to figure out what the fuck has just happened SrA Dumbass comes out of his room in his tighty whiteys scratching balls and pleading with us to stop fucking with him because he's trying to sleep! It took a good 10 minutes of pleading with this guy and pointing out the power is out, the windows are all gone, and people are scrambling to help the wounded before he believed us that we weren't fucking with him.

Needless to say SrA Dumbass never lived that incident down.
