'8 - Spurs are tenacious, winning the ball back at all costs. Rose especially.
'9 - Shouts from Palace fans that Michel handled the ball outside of the box, but Michael Oliver could care less.
'11 - Nice bit of passing from Spurs sees Lamela plays the ball in, which is put out by Dann for a corner. The corner comes in and a magnificent CHANCE from Toby, everyone in disbelief on how he didn't score.
'15 - Kane produces a wonderful pass to Vincent, but he puts his shot over the bar.
'16 - Foul by Delaney for WWEing Vincent.
'17 - Andros sends the ball into the box after a Rose foul, Eric Dier knocks it out for a corner. Ball bounces around before Vertonghen puts it out for another corner. Spurs deal with it and start a nice counterattack before Eriksen whiffs his pass.
'20 - Wanyama once again becomes a beast, powering the ball up field and winning a corner. Lamela takes the corner, and Wanyama heads it over.
'22 - Ledley fouls Lamela a bit outside the box. Lamela takes it and it hits the wall.
'24 - Dier takes a shot which is deflected and out for a corner. Nothing comes of it.
'26 - Townsend with a nice dummy shot but skies his shot. Oliver comes back to book Zaha for his foul on Toby.
'27 - Hennessey with a triple save, one from Kane from long range, then two from Vincent from point blank almost.
'30 - Corner to Spurs after Delaney puts Eriksen's long range attempt out. Lamela takes it and nothing comes from it.
'35 - Dier writhing on the ground in pain after he took a powerful shot to his family jewels. He's up now. Commentator, after seeing the replay: "Well, there's very little the physio can do about that."
'37 - De ja vu with Delaney's foul on Jansenns.
'38- Corner from Spurs after Jansenns delcious pass finds Danny Rose and is played out by Palace. Corner is unsuccessful in all aspects.
'45 + 2 - Harry Kane receives the ball from Lamela, but his powerful shot is put wide of the net.
Halftime Thoughts: A tenacious, vicious, scrappy London Derby. Spurs unlucky to not be ahead due to some great saves from Hennessey. General consensus is that Lamela and Eriksen need to switch sides, or that Eriksen needs to be brought off entirely. Burnley up 2-0 over Lpool lol.
'45 - Cabaye on, Ledley off.
'48 - Nice ball in to Eriksen from Walker, but Chris' shot (cross?) falls right into the hands of Hennessey.
'54 - Nice bit of passing from Palace, but Cabaye's attempt is wide.
'55 - Wonderful ball into the box from Dier, but Kane's headed attempt goes wide right.
'59 - Kane attempts a volley from a bouncing pass, but it's over the bar.
'60 - Walker is booked. Another unsuccessful corner too.
'61 - Townsend finds Cabaye in the box, and it's a horrendous shot by Cabaye.
'66 - Yellow for Dann after dragging down Jansenns. Lamela's FK is unsuccessful.
'68 - Verts is booked. Eriksen off, Dele on.
'70 - Almost an instant impact from Dele, but Jansenn's finish is horrendous and wide left.
'77 - Dier is booked.
'79 - Ball falls to Dele, and it just barely flies above the bar.
'80 - Corner for Spurs after a Rose cross. AND IT'S A FUCKING GOAL BY VICTOR WANYAMA ON HIS HOME DEBUT!!!
'83 - More on the goal, it's a headed assist from Kane and Big Vic pops it in with his noggin. COYS.
'84 - WHL is rocking.
'88 - Brilliant tackle by Rose on Andros. Andros gets his panties in a wad and complains, gets booked.
'89 - Super Jan with a super block.
'90 - Kane off, Onomah on.
'90 + 2 - FK to Spurs after Puncheon fouls Rose.
'90 + 5 - Lamela off, Carroll on.
FULL TIME: SPURS 1 - PALACE 0
Thoughts: Spurs unlucky to not have won by a larger margin, but 3 points are three points. Wanyama makes an excellent home debut. Team played great in my opinion, other than some finishing in the final third. Rose or Jansenns MOTM in my opinion.
