Advice: Deal with already active enemies before you trigger more in PvE
###The Saboteur In The Saboteur after the first defense point and prior to the second point there are two shards, one to your left and one to the right. Before you can reach them you will have to deal with a group of varelsi. Once you get past them, there will be a Jennerit spawn in the middle just before the second defense point area. If you go to the left toward one of the shards, you will trigger a warp anchor and another Jennerit spawn. If you go to the right towards the other shard, you will trigger a warp anchor and another Jennerit spawn. Please deal with the enemies already on the map prior to triggering any of the additional Jennerit spawns. I've seen several teams get overwhelmed with the number of enemies that can spawn here if you don't deal with one group at a time, it's an incredibly stupid way to fail the mission. This mission is tough enough as is, there's no reason for you to make it more difficult than it has to be.
###The Archive In The Archive, arguably the easiest mission in the game if people simply follow the objective, people will stop protecting Chronicle and sprint to other parts of the maps in an effort to grab shards. I hope your shards were worth it as you just left two players to protect Chronicle against a full 5 man difficulty Jennerit army. This is one of only two reasons this mission will ever fail in my experience, the other being a later part in the mission when you escort Chronicle back to his original area and several anchors spawn in while multiple teammates trail behind fighting enemies that are no longer a threat to Chronicle. You should never fail this mission if the team is actually paying attention to the objective. I'll also highly recommend dealing with the active enemies near the veiled shard cluster prior to talking to Mellka to activate the minion escort part of the mission. It'll make the mission a bit more difficult and take a little longer if you talk to her straight away, but it isn't something that should prevent you from completing it otherwise.
###The Sentinel On The Sentinel at the very beginning, people like to sprint to the first shard cluster at the left. This is a mistake. In fairness, this is a common mistake that even a lot of very experienced players seem to make. This will trigger additional spawns while there are already active enemies on the map. Feel free to shoot the shard cluster from a distance, but don't get close enough to trigger the warp anchor until you've dealt with the anchor, beastmaster, enforcer, or whatever else has spawned to your right.
###The Void's Edge People tend to sprint around on The Void's Edge going for shards rather than protecting the sentry, but it typically isn't as damning as on the other missions I mentioned. Just be aware of Wolf's health and remember if he dies, the mission fails. If you're debating between buying him an upgrade to keep him alive and activating a piece of gear, the answer is keep him alive.
###The Experiment The general theme so far has been don't run ahead of the rest of the team to grab shards, but feel free to ignore this advice at the very beginning of The Experiment where I'd actively encourage sprinting ahead (before the first defense starts up) to grab shards so you can purchase buildables to help your defense. While I'm on the subject I can't emphasize enough that buildables are way more important than your gear on that mission and that there's more than enough shards on that map for you to activate your gear in time. Prioritize the buildables. One more point I want to add about this mission is that on your way back to the experiment after defending the backup power station, go around the experiment instead of directly through it. If you go directly through the center of the experiment, you'll activate the 15 seconds timer for the next defense while your teammates trail behind. If you go around it, your teammates will have more time to catch up and prepare the buildables before the defense starts up.
###Conclusion If your gear set is so expensive that you need those shards badly enough to risk failing the mission, reconsider your load out. If your gear set is so expensive that you find the team struggling to buy buildables at the end of the mission (especially in The Saboteur), reconsider your load out. I believe I listed the only locations where this advice is particularly important to the success of the mission, but if there's something that didn't come to me off the top of my head please point it out and I'll add it in.
