Game stuck when clicking on gyms held by low CP pokemons

Today I'm facing a weird problem when trying to battle gyms. There are about 3-4 gyms all held by team Instinct with Pidgey, Capterpie and Magikarp in Lakeside park, Oakland. Everytime I tap on these gyms, my game freeze and I have to restart the app. It's really annoying. Is there anyone experiencing the same thing?
