Poor Alex :(

I feel like a lot of people remember the bigger things, like Rebecca going crazy, Izzie getting cancer and leaving, and his past history.

But I've been rewatching and am almost finished with season 7. I forgot about Lucy. Who went ahead and took Alex's Africa job. Seriously. Seriously!?

After rewatching and knowing what comes up with Jo, what the heck. Like even Meredith got to have some happiness with Derek. Can we give Alex a break for just a bit, please??
