iPad 3 or iPad Mini 2

Hey guys. My Uni is forcing me to purchase an iDevice and so i've opted to get an older device on the cheap.

Both the iPad 3 and iPad Mini 2 can be bought for around the same price used but i'm having a hard time choosing between them.

The screen real estate on the iPad 3 is something that i would find useful but the bezel's on the device are just so huge and off putting.

Other than that, spec wise they're both pretty out-dated and the same, which is fine since i'll mostly only be using them for one or two apps.
