Anyone else suddenly receiving SiriusXM traffic/weather data well-past free trial?

Had my '14 ST3 now since Jan '15. Over the past six months, for one to three week intervals, my navi will start displaying SiriusXM traffic data again. I do not have a current subscription, save for the free six month trial I had upon purchasing the car. I check the 'subscription status' screen and see, yes, while I'm not subscribed to SiriusXM radio, I am subscribed to the SiriusXM travel data (traffic/weather/movies/gas prices/etc.).

Anyone else experience this? I'm happy for it, but just confused as to how this can continue to happen.
