Kosmemophobia: Fear of Jewelry

Hi Everybody!

I'm the creator and moderator of r/kosmemophobia, and the mods here were gracious enough to give us a link in the sidebar! For those of you who don't know (probably everybody!), Kosmemophobia is the name given to a fear of jewelry. It's pretty rare apparently, but I'm trying to drum up support since there's so few of us. Jewelry is everywhere in everyday life, the anxiety it causes can be a near-constant for some people. Since it's so rare, it's easy to feel like you're weird and alone, so I'm hoping to spread some awareness!

Here's the link to a post that goes into awesome detail on Kosmemophobia, and it's the oldest mention of the name I can find. It's not a term found in the dictionary, or even the wikipedia list of phobias, but I'm working on that.

Anyways, I kinda just wanted to share the details of this relatively unknown phobia, as well as show some appreciation for the mods here. Again, I personally really appreciate the link!
